Station Update as of March 2009 :

We have been broadcasting live since October and have already moved into the top 10 internet Country stations in the world on Spacial Audio's Servers.  Spacial audio also serves up all the CBS stations so we feel we are doing very well.  We current are averaging over  35,000 listener hours per month.

We have modified our format somewhat during this period of time to deliver the content our listeners want.  We have replaced the Sunday Gospel Show with a mix of every type of music we play:  Traditional Country, Folk, Western Swing,  Bluegrass, Americana and Roots.
If you have a wide range of musical tastes, this is the show for you.

We are live many times during the day.  Our #1 rated show is Donna the Barefoot DJ from 10am to 11:30 am Central USA time.  The Old Buzzard (our Program Director) is in 4:30 - 6 most weekday afternoons, during our Saturday Bluegrass Show from 6am - Noon USA Central time and for the last half of I Like Everything on Sunday Mornings  (Show starts at 8am and runs until Noon USA Central time).

We also air Chronicles of the Old West, a five minute show each weekday at 11:am and 5:pm Central USA time, and go live to fill requests at other times.  As our listener base continues to grow we will add more live DJ times.

In the meantime enjoy our programming and keep those requests coming!  With a library of over 6500 Country/Folk/Bluegrass, Western Swing, Americana & Roots songs ranging from priceless old Hank Williams Demos to the newest songs by Indie artists we are well prepared to keep you entertained all day at work or any where else!

WE’RE LIVE!!! – KWBC.FM IS NOW ON THE INTERNET world-wide 24 hours per day!

We are currently broadcasting 24/7  playing from our entire play list of nearly 4,000 (now over 6500) songs.
This is to give you an idea of the entire range of music we can draw from.

As the month progresses we will post our schedule on the homepage of our KWBC.fm website.  We will be playing Traditional Country as our mainstay (you'll be surprised at who we consider "traditional".  How about The Everly's, Elvis, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Jim Stafford, Gene Autry, EmmyLou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Rodgers, Kitty Wells, John Prine, Iris Dement, Alison Krause and Randy Travis just to name a few.


There will be special Bluegrass blocks as well  (6am - noon Saturdays USA Central time).  In addition we will be mixing in bluegrass crossover during our Traditional Country blocks.

We welcome all comments and requests.  Soon we will have a rating system where you can let us know if you want to hear more or less of a particular song.

Sometime soon we will begin live broadcasting  We are now live with shows where our DJ's profile session players, present interesting trivia and historical information about artists and music in general.  We will be  are interviewing artists and some are playing in our studios.
