HOW TO FIND ARTICLES IN THE BACK 40 FORUMS ARCHIVES
« Reply #2 on: February 24, 2014, 05:57:40 AM »
The Back 40 Forum was founded in 2008.  Since that time there have been millions of pages viewed and thousands of Posts made.  Unfortunately only the 20 most recent posts and the first 5 pages of posts on each topic show up on the board directories.

So, how can YOU access the tens of thousands of pages of information on a subject you are looking for?  EASY.  Just look up at the upper right corner of the page you are viewing now.  You will find a blank white box next to a search button.  Entering terms in this box will search the entire FORUM, not the entire web.  Fortunately, we have a very good search engine on this site and the Forum is searched on a daily (if not hourly) basis by all the major search engines worldwide.

Pick your search terms carefully and you will get exactly the information you are looking for.  Here is an example. If you enter "CHICKEN" you will get thousands of results.  If you enter "POULTRY" you will get even more.  But if you enter "Turkey Slaughter" you will still get good results and your results will be more useful to you.

Don't think that just because you can't see all the back posts you can't get the information you are looking for.  As the Old PBS "Star Hustler" used to say:  "Just look up; keep looking up" to our search box at the upper right corner of every page.

And, lastly:  If you still don't find exactly what you are looking for, join the Forums and POST what information or help you need.  Some reader or one of our moderators will step in and help you find what ever it is you need!
