Office Person

We have a place for a mature, stable, well-rounded person who would like a
long-term involvement with the Teaching Drum. If you are this person, you are
self-motivated - you can take the initiative, make things happen, get things
done, and are adept at taking a leadership role when necessary. You are at the
hub of the school, aware of and helping to coordinate various activities. You
interface extensively with the outside world, whether by phone, e-mail or in
person, utilizing excellent communication skills in the process. You know your
way around computers (word processing, e-mail, internet and web pages) and are
an excellent organizer, keeping accurate and detailed records. Familiarity with
library organization is a plus.

You are comfortable in an
informal yet dynamic setting in which activities can take place any time of day
or night, and you can easily multi-task, switching gears in an instant to come
back later to previous projects. You like being around people and gain
satisfaction in serving their needs, knowing that in doing so, you create the
opening for your needs to be served.

Families are welcome; pets,
smoking, caffeine, and drugs are not.

Compensation is a small monthly
stipend of $200/month, and benefits include fresh organic and wild food, a
rustic and communal living space, shared vehicle/phone use, and participation
in the healing work of the Teaching Drum community.

We require three professional references during the interview process. Please
submit a resume at the reply-to address, or call with any questions:
