Donna speaks with Russ Kremer - President of the Ozark Mountain Pork Cooperative

With the release of the new food movie Fresh the world is being introduced to Russ Kremer, the President of the Ozark Mountain Pork Cooperative based in Missouri. It was very insightful to get to speak with Russ about his farm career and how it has pretty much come full circle and back to the days when his ancestors were farming.

Having spent many summers on my Uncle's farm and seeing him struggle with the technological end of things it is refreshing to know that farmers like Russ Kremer are stepping up and in his words, "creating a model of hope" that will help to balance all the parts that need to come together to create profitable farms offering healthy products to consumers that want to feel good about what they are eating.
