Animal-powered corn grinding, sorghum pressing, and field work (weather permitting) as well as wagon rides. Come visit with the people who have knowledge of these old skills! Heritage crafts and pioneer activities are demonstrated, with the preliminary list including spinning, weaving, natural dyeing, beekeeping, dry-laid stone, flintknapping, vintage kitchen tools, breadmaking, blacksmithing, soapmaking, children's primitive games and toys, storytelling, antique clothing, and more! Pleign-aire artist Gina Brune painting on-site, award-winning photographer Kim Carr, native plant identification hikes, rare breed displays, bluegrass music by the Bluegill Buddies, Dutch-oven cooking, pulled pork, kettle corn, pork rinds, many more treats.
Anyone who owns a single working animal or team of horses, mules, donkeys or oxen (well-behaved please!) is encouraged to come and join other teamsters in the field (negative Coggins needed for equine).

Owners of rare breeds of poultry and livestock who wish to display them, and heritage crafters who wish to demonstrate their craft, should contact us by July 2013 at 573-764-2629 or e-mail tenacity@fidnet.com

Primitive camping is available for exhibitors. No alcohol, no pets, no 4-wheelers or ATV's. Wheelchairs are OK.
We are graciously sponsored by the Missouri Draft Horse and Mule Association, Inc.
