Described as refreshing, uplifting, with a voice pure and clear as exquisite crystal. Linda will take you into a world of wonder with her own music, or performing covers. Linda has combined her passion as an entertainer and songwriter with a jazz influence. Philosophical musings set to sparkling vocal overtones creates a new type of music that communes with the heart and soul bringing much needed beauty and harmony into the world. How did Linda make the transformation from being a covers artist to creating her unique style. It began with her very fascinating journey.....

A Natural Entertainer

Linda's ability as a singer was apparent in her early years when performing at dancing school in her home town of Manchester. UK. Later she honed her skills at the Royal Northern college. studying classical trumpet. This followed at the jazz summer school with Sir John Dankworth.

Linda with the Dankworths
He encouraged Linda to write her own music and kind enough to score her very first composition. Linda went on to form a jazz/cabaret act touring with with major TV stars such as Des O Conner. This followed with numerous TV shows and asked to present a radio series with her songs and guests. This was in Malta where Linda was heard singing at the Malta jazz festival alongside Toots Thielesman. Her work continued as a singer aboard Cunard cruise liners moving on to entertaining the troops worldwide. An invitation followed from Prince Charles to sing at his de-mob party in recognition for her good deeds.

However despite the fame and success,
Linda realized that something was missing.

It was time to feed the creative spirit within and fulfill her potential in writing and recording an album. Her dream came true after hearing the songs, a German label released her debut album "Heaven is This". This followed on several years later with a kaleidoscope of mystical jazz songs inspired from a tour in India. The title "Lady of Light" includes the harpist Hugh Webb from the Philharmonia orchestra heard on Jazz FM.

This soon followed with a concert for Black Hawk records recorded at the station owned by Clint Eastwood. It was here she met with the finest musicians on the West coast including her Brazilian pianist Weber Iago.

Back home in the UK Linda Linda teamed up with hit record producer Andy Whitmore to write a jazz/pop album. This being her latest album "Everlasting Circles" also covering an old 70s hit song "Oh Lori" originally by Alessi. The song was heard by a major film producer, now being used as the background music for a French movie. Qui A Envie D'Ítre Aime was released in 2011 and now Linda is currently working on more songs for movies. Linda also went on tour in the spring of 2011 with her Jazzanova band delighting audiences with her beautiful voice.
