Snakes in drain
« Reply #1 on: September 12, 2009, 02:39:48 PM »
OK, my wife is going crazy.   All summer we have had garter snakes showing up in our drains.  They usually crawl up the basement stool or shower as that's closest to the cess pool, but we've had them crawl out the toilet upstairs and yest. one came up the kitchen sink, but got himself stuck as he was too big to fit through the mesh in the sink drain.  That happened in the shower downstairs a couple of times and I had to cut them in half and take the drain apart to get them out.

We're fit to be tied,  don't know how in the world they get in the cesspool;   is there anything we could run down the drains to get rid of them?
